Trump Media announces paid API giving Wall Street early access to Trump's market-moving Truth Social posts

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), of which President Trump is the largest shareholder, announced the launch of 'Truth API,' a licensed data feed that will deliver posts from the top 10 most influential Truth Social accounts to paying customers in milliseconds. The service, designed for high-frequency trading firms, will provide faster access than standard push notifications to posts that frequently move financial markets, including Trump's own policy announcements on tariffs, military actions, and economic decisions. Critics, including Democratic lawmakers and ethics experts, condemned the move as 'brazen corruption' and 'insider trading,' arguing it allows Trump to profit directly from privileged access to presidential communications. The company expects the service to begin August 1 and says it has already signed up customers.
