Trump describes graphic executions and nuclear annihilation to children at White House fitness event

During an Oval Office event celebrating the return of the Presidential Fitness Test, President Trump subjected a room full of children—most not yet teenagers—to a disturbing lecture about war and violence. He graphically described Iranian protesters being shot "right between the eyes" by snipers, warned that "maybe we wouldn't all be here right now" if Iran obtained nuclear weapons, and ranted about "transgender mutilation of children." At one point, he acknowledged the inappropriateness, saying "You might be too young for this," but continued anyway. The event, intended to honor youth athletes and fitness, devolved into what critics described as "an advanced course in authoritarian education" featuring graphic violence, nuclear threats, and election conspiracy theories delivered to an audience of schoolchildren.

"Iran with a nuclear weapon... maybe we wouldn't all be here right now. You might be too young for this." — Trump acknowledged the inappropriateness of his graphic war descriptions to children but continued his violent rhetoric anyway
