DOJ releases 3 million pages of Epstein files with FBI memos showing Maxwell 'presented' victim to Trump

The Department of Justice released more than 3 million pages, over 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images from files connected to Jeffrey Epstein's criminal investigation, claiming to be 'in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.' Among the revelations: An internal FBI memo from mid-2021 revealed that one of Epstein's victims told the FBI that Ghislaine Maxwell once 'presented her' to Donald Trump at a New York party, describing her qualifications 'like a professional CV,' and suggesting she was 'available.' The victim received a tour of Mar-a-Lago with Trump, Epstein, and Maxwell present--though she stated 'nothing happened' between her and Trump. A separate 1994 court document describes a 14-year-old girl taken to Mar-a-Lago by Epstein, where Epstein introduced her to Trump and 'elbowed Trump playfully' saying 'This is a good one, right?' while Trump 'smiled and nodded in agreement.' Flight records showed Trump traveled on Epstein's private jet at least eight times between 1993-1996--'many more times than previously reported.' The DOJ also released an FBI list of sexual assault allegations against Trump compiled by the FBI New York field office's Child Exploitation & Human Trafficking Task Force in August 2025. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche--Trump's former personal defense lawyer--stated the DOJ 'didn't protect or not protect anybody' and that some documents contain 'untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump' submitted 'right before the 2020 election.' Democratic lawmakers including Rep. Ro Khanna disputed compliance, accusing DOJ of withholding 'FBI 302 victim interview statements, a draft indictment and prosecution memorandum from 2007, and hundreds of thousands of emails.' The Justice Department was criticized for publishing dozens of unredacted nude images showing young women with faces visible before removing them.

"We didn't protect or not protect anybody" — Deputy AG Todd Blanche (Trump's former personal defense attorney) defending the Epstein files release, denying DOJ protected Trump while simultaneously labeling damaging documents as 'untrue and sensationalist claims'
