ICE agent Ross's cell phone video released showing he shot Good while standing to the side, not in vehicle's path
Cell phone footage recorded by ICE agent Jonathan Ross during the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good was released, providing crucial evidence that contradicts administration claims of self-defense. The video shows Ross approaching Good's maroon Honda Pilot from the passenger side, circling around to the front. As Good reverses with wheels pointed left, then begins moving forward with wheels turned RIGHT (away from Ross's position), Ross fires. ABC News metadata analysis shows the first shot was fired through the front windshield at 9:37:13 a.m., followed by a second shot 399 milliseconds later, and a third shot 299 milliseconds after that. Critically, Ross was standing to the front-left of the vehicle--NOT in its path--when he opened fire. Media analysis from the New York Times and Washington Post determined Ross was not in the path of Good's vehicle when he fired the first shot. An eyewitness told NBC News the officers were not in front of her car the moment this all occurred. Good's last recorded words were: 'That's fine, dude, I'm not mad at you' and 'I'm not mad at anyone.' Despite this evidence, DHS claimed the video corroborates their self-defense narrative.
