DHS posts ICE recruitment image with 'We'll have our home again' slogan

On Jan. 9, DHS social-media accounts (including DHSgov on X) posted an ICE recruitment image reading 'We'll have our home again' with a link to JOIN.ICE.GOV. PBS NewsHour reported the phrase references the song 'We'll Have Our Home Again,' which it said is favored by the Proud Boys, and SPLC Hatewatch documented the post across DHS and White House accounts while linking the song to the white nationalist group Pine Tree Riots. The post drew scrutiny as the administration promoted ICE recruitment during an intensified immigration crackdown.
