President-elect Trump announced that Tesla CEO Elon Musk and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will co-lead a new 'Department of Government Efficiency' (DOGE) - named after the cryptocurrency Musk has promoted. Trump promised they would 'dismantle government bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies.' The advisory body is not an actual government department and exists outside government structure, raising legal questions.
