Asks Supreme Court to intervene in Mar-a-Lago classified documents case

Trump filed an emergency application with the Supreme Court asking Justice Clarence Thomas to intervene in the Mar-a-Lago documents dispute. He sought to vacate part of an 11th Circuit ruling that allowed the DOJ to resume using classified documents seized in the August FBI raid as part of its criminal probe. Thomas, who handles emergency requests for the 11th Circuit and whose wife Ginni had promoted efforts to overturn the 2020 election, gave the DOJ until October 11 to respond.
