QAnon anthem and one-finger salutes mark Trump's Ohio rally for JD Vance

At a September 17, 2022 rally in Youngstown, Ohio, held to support Senate candidate JD Vance, Trump closed his remarks over instrumental music that a musicologist and Media Matters' audio analysis identified as effectively identical to "Wwg1wga," a track named for the QAnon slogan "where we go one, we go all." As the music played, a portion of the crowd raised an arm with one finger extended, a gesture QAnon researchers and some attendees said referenced the movement's "one" motto; video reviewed by reporters showed event staff moving through the crowd asking attendees to lower their hands. A Trump campaign spokesperson said the track was an original instrumental composed by someone else, but music professor David Dominique told reporters he had "100% professional confidence" the two recordings were identical.
