Supreme Court rejects bid to block Jan. 6 records

The Supreme Court rejected Trump's request to block the National Archives from releasing White House records to the January 6 Committee. The 8-1 decision (with only Justice Thomas dissenting) was a major legal defeat for Trump's attempt to use executive privilege to hide his conduct during the insurrection.
