Calls HHS Inspector General Christi Grimm's hospital-shortage report 'Another Fake Dossier'

On April 7, 2020, Trump tweeted that an HHS Office of Inspector General report documenting severe hospital shortages of COVID-19 tests and personal protective equipment was 'Another Fake Dossier,' questioning why its author 'who spent 8 years with the Obama Administration' had not consulted military and administration officials first. The inspector general, Christi Grimm, had in fact served across four presidential administrations since joining the office in 1999; her office said the survey applied the same standards used in prior work. The April 6 report was based on responses from 323 hospitals in 46 states surveyed between March 23 and 27.
