Threatens to close the U.S.-Mexico border within days

While traveling in Florida, Trump told reporters he would close the southern border or "large sections" of it as soon as the following week unless Mexico stopped migrant families, warning it could halt "all trade" even though aides acknowledged such a shutdown would devastate the economy.
