Threatens Iran in all-caps tweet: "NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN"

Trump issued an explosive all-caps threat to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Twitter, warning of consequences "THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE." The bellicose tweet, reminiscent of his "fire and fury" rhetoric toward North Korea, escalated tensions just months after withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, raising fears of military conflict.
