Uses Navajo Code Talker ceremony to call Warren "Pocahontas"

During a White House ceremony honoring three surviving Navajo code talkers, Trump pointed to the portrait of Andrew Jackson and told the veterans, "You were here long before any of us were here. Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas." The slur against Sen. Elizabeth Warren overshadowed the recognition event and prompted Native leaders to condemn Trump for using a racist nickname during a military tribute.
