Pardons Sheriff Joe Arpaio during Hurricane Harvey landfall

Using the cover of Hurricane Harvey's landfall in Texas, Trump issued his first presidential pardon to former Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Arpaio had been convicted of criminal contempt for refusing to stop racially profiling Latinos. Trump had previously praised Arpaio's harsh tactics and birtherism.
