Scaramucci's profane New Yorker rant attacks Priebus and Bannon, hastens both ousters

Six days after being named communications director, Anthony Scaramucci gave a profanity-laden interview to The New Yorker's Ryan Lizza that would hasten his firing and Priebus's resignation. Scaramucci called Chief of Staff Reince Priebus 'a fucking paranoid schizophrenic' and accused him of leaking. Of Steve Bannon, he said: 'I'm not Steve Bannon, I'm not trying to suck my own cock.' He threatened to 'fucking kill all the leakers.' Trump reportedly enjoyed the interview and called Scaramucci to congratulate him. The interview exposed the internecine warfare consuming the White House and became an instant emblem of the administration's chaos.
