Sues Doral to block fines over more than 100 noise citations

Trump filed a Feb. 12 lawsuit against the city of Doral accusing its noise ordinance of being “vague and ambiguous” after Trump National Doral racked up more than 100 citations—most for “unreasonably loud” pre-dawn lawn equipment—and at least $150,000 in potential fines since August 2014. Instead of adjusting maintenance schedules for nearby homeowners, he demanded the ordinance be rewritten while boasting, “This is the finest resort in the world, you have to cut the grass,” prompting the city attorney to accuse him of escalating the dispute rather than acting as a good neighbor.
