Awarded 60-year lease for Old Post Office building in DC

The General Services Administration (GSA) announced that the Trump Organization was selected to redevelop the historic Old Post Office building in Washington, D.C., into a luxury hotel. Trump committed to investing $200 million in the renovation. This deal secured a prime location on Pennsylvania Avenue, just blocks from the White House, which would later become a hub for his 2016 campaign and presidency, raising significant conflict of interest questions.
