Buyers of the stalled Trump International Hotel & Tower Fort Lauderdale cited Trump’s glossy 2009 letter—"It is with great pleasure that I present my latest development... I have spared no expense"—as evidence he misrepresented the project before they sued over being left with condos that might never open once his partners warned the brand could be pulled.
